Louisiana State U. Student Arrested After Marijuana and Laughing Gas Found in Campus Residence

Laughing gas? As in nitrous oxide? That’s pretty hardcore.

The Reveille reports:

Student arrested after laughing gas and marijauna were found in on-campus residence

An LSU student was arrested after nitrous oxide, commonly known as laughing gas, and marijuana were found inside an East Campus Apartments residence.

18-year-old Boyd Hebert, originally from Thibodeaux, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and felony possession of controlled substances on Sept. 29.

LSU police officers responded to a drug complaint made by Hebert’s RA, who stated that during a routine room inspection on Sept. 28, RAs found what appeared to be nitrous oxide used for inhalation on the top shelf of the closet in Hebert’s room, according to an LSUPD incident report.

Police made contact with Hebert and searched his room, where they found a 2000 gram jar of Max Cream Charger GreatWhip Nitrous Oxide E942, 4.18 grams of marijuana and multiple pieces of marijuana paraphernalia.
