Congratulations to FormEvo on a fantastic legal industry day at Silverstone Saturday (3 October), bringing together around 200 guests of FormEvo plus racing sponsors Intapp, X-Press Legal Services Group, SP1 IT Solutions, iQlink, Actus Verto, ROOX. Weightmans was also in attendance as FormEvo supported partner Stuart Whittle’s incredible efforts to raise money for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity.
Intapp managing director Simon Clark, the driver of FormEvo’s McLaren 570S in the Britcar Endurance Championship, started in third position but when the car began to fill with smoke, it was clear it wasn’t going to be the McLaren’s day. The team still have a good chance of winning, however, and I spoke to Simon about how he remains so calm despite the chaos of the day.

In terms of why FormEvo sponsors racing, founder and managing director Archie Courage doesn’t beat around the bush. “Legal forms are boring, we know that, but this is a way of making it exciting,” he said. It certainly was that, as well as a reminder of how collegial the legal tech sector can be.
