About the Event
Jus Novum, meaning “New Law,” is a national-level movement hosted by Moot Court Society, Apex School of Law, Apex University, Jaipur, in collaboration with District Legal Services Authority, Jaipur (District). Scheduled for August–September 2026 in a hybrid format, this festival aspires to serve as a premier platform for nurturing India’s most promising legal minds.
It is founded on the belief that law extends beyond a profession—it is a powerful instrument for social transformation, justice, and the preservation of human dignity. Through this initiative, we aim to cultivate a generation of legally aware, ethically driven, and socially responsible individuals committed to advancing the rule of law and contributing meaningfully to society.
About the Quiz Competition
The Quiz Competition at Jus Novum 2026 seeks intellectually curious, quick-witted, and well-read students to test their mettle in a premier battle of knowledge. Serving as a high-stakes intellectual battleground, this competition challenges participants to demonstrate their rapid recall and analytical prowess across diverse domains -including constitutional law, current socioeconomic affairs, and historical milestones—on a massive national platform.
Eligibility
- School Students: Open to all bona fide students enrolled in Class 8 to Class 12 from any recognized school or educational board.
- Undergraduate (UG) Students: Open to students currently pursuing any 3-year or 5-year undergraduate degree from any recognized college or university.
- Postgraduate (PG) Students: Open to students enrolled in any postgraduate course across any recognized institution or department.
