About the Organisation
The University School of Law and Legal Studies (USLLS), Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, located in Dwarka, New Delhi, India, was established in 2001.
In 2024, GGSIPU was ranked 17th in Law in the NIRF Rankings and achieved 6th position among Government Universities in the India Today Best Indian Universities Rankings in 2025. USLLS benefits from proximity to key judicial bodies including the Supreme Court and Delhi High Court, alongside various tribunals and commissions.
The institution focuses on producing professionals with strong academic potential, critical analytical abilities, and skills in advocacy, counselling, and mediation.
About the Blog
The USLLS ADR Blog, an initiative by USLLS, promotes academic deliberation in the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). It seeks to provide a platform for academicians, researchers, students, and practitioners to discuss and develop ADR as a mainstream mode of dispute resolution.
The Blog has a diverse Advisory Board comprising accomplished ADR experts, ensuring holistic representation. The inaugural message was delivered by HMJ Rekha Palli, Judge, High Court of Delhi, and the opening blog series includes contributions from 12 eminent legal professionals globally.

About the Call for Blogs
The USLLS ADR Blog invites crisp and analytical blog submissions related to Alternative Dispute Resolution laws. All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process.
Submission Guidelines
- Co-authorship of up to two authors allowed.
- Do not include author names or institutional affiliations in the document to maintain double-blind review.
- Submissions must be original, unpublished works. Plagiarism leads to automatic rejection.
- Turnitin similarity index must not exceed 20% (excluding bibliography, quotes, small matches).
- Submissions should be between 1000 to 2000 words, excluding endnotes. Longer posts may be published in parts subject to editorial discretion.
General Formatting Guidelines
- Font: Times New Roman
- Font Size: 12 for text, 10 for endnotes
- Line Spacing: 1.5 for text, 1.0 for endnotes
- Text Alignment: Justified
- Citation Style: Bluebook 20th edition using endnotes
Review Process
- Submissions are evaluated by two editors independently through a double-blind process.
- Review completes within 14 days of acknowledgment of submission.
- Authors may be given 10 days to incorporate suggested changes after acceptance (conditional or unconditional).
Copyright and Exclusivity
- Copyright vests with the Blog upon acceptance; moral rights remain with author(s).
- Blog requires exclusive publications; accepted manuscripts cannot be published elsewhere.
Submission Procedure
- Rolling submissions accepted.
- Submit in Word document format (.doc or .docx) with an abstract/summary (max 100 words) excluded from word count.
- Include a short biography with current designation and affiliations.
