About the Organization
Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU), Visakhapatnam, established by the Government of Andhra Pradesh under the DSNLU Act, 2008, is recognized by the Bar Council of India and committed to academic excellence, legal research, innovation, and experiential learning.
In 2018, DSNLU established the Damodaram Sanjivayya Legal Incubation Centre (DSLIC) to develop professional and advocacy skills among students and young lawyers. DSLIC bridges the gap between theory and practice by promoting experiential learning, continuous legal education, interdisciplinary legal entrepreneurship, and support for law-based startups.
It has organized initiatives such as CSI, Vibodha – Workshop on Legal Entrepreneurship, Trial Advocacy Workshops, Forensic Science Workshops, and programmes on Challenges in the Legal Profession.
About the Competition
CSI 7.0 – Crime Scene Investigation is a national-level competition organized by the Legal Incubation Centre, DSNLU. It focuses on crime-scene investigation through observation, documentation, photography, sketching, identification, and collection of physical evidence, along with forensic, legal and logical reasoning.
Eligibility
UG/PG students from any discipline can participate in teams of three members. Participants must carry their student ID.
Perks
Every participating team will receive a kit and certificate.
The competition offers the following prizes:

Registration Fee
- Teams of three can register by paying a registration fee of ₹750 per team.
- Registration must be completed on or before 26 September 2026.
- Payment is to be made to the specified DSNLU bank account with the purpose mentioned as “CSI – 7.0, 2026.”
