The Chair on Consumer Law and Practice at the National Law School of India University (NLSIU) is dedicated to consumer protection research and advocacy.
About the Competition
The first edition of the National Online Poster Making Competition invites participants from across India to translate ground realities into impactful visual communication. The competition seeks original posters that raise awareness about contemporary consumer protection issues, explain consumer rights or remedies, or call for responsible, informed, and ethical consumption in a visually compelling and factually sound manner accessible to a general audience.

The Consumer Protection Act, 2019: new rights, new remedies

Dark patterns, drip pricing and manipulative design in e-commerce

Misleading advertisements, surrogate advertising and celebrity endorser liability

Consumer rights in the digital and platform economy (quick-commerce, ride-hailing, gig platforms)

Data privacy and algorithmic decision-making as consumer protection concerns

Product liability, product safety and recall mechanisms

Food adulteration, labelling and nutritional misinformation

Digital payments, online financial fraud and cybersecurity for consumers

Eligibility
Competition Structure & Submission Guidelines

Participants must design an original poster on the chosen consumer protection theme or sub-theme

Submissions to be made online through the registration and submission portal
