3. Preferential Qualifications: Preference is given to candidates possessing:
- NCC “B” or “C” Certificate
- Territorial Army service
- Relevant departmental experience (where applicable)
4. Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 and 42 years of age as per the cut-off date prescribed in the UKPSC PCS 2026 notification i.e, 1st July 2026
5. Nationality: Candidates must satisfy the nationality conditions prescribed by UKPSC. Eligible categories include:

- Certain Tibetan refugees

Interview (Personality Test)
The final stage of 150 marks, evaluates a candidate’s general awareness, communication skills, leadership qualities, decision-making ability, personality, and understanding of Uttarakhand-specific issues, along with overall suitability for public service. The final merit list is prepared based on the combined marks secured in the Mains written examination and the Interview, with a total of 1,650 marks.
