Amid an orchestrated uproar and a walkout by anti-Israel diplomats, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a defiant address at the United Nations General Assembly, calling those leaving the hall “moral cowards.”
In a 40-minute address, Prime Minister Netanyahu highlighted Israel’s decisive successes on the battlefield while calling out the relentless campaign of lies, media bias, and orchestrated protests aimed at his country.
“We rose and fought like lions,” the prime minister said, praising the Israeli armed forces battling Hamas and the Iran-led axis of terror since October 7, 2023.
Recalling the Mossad’s pager operation against the Iranian proxy terror group Hezbollah two years ago, he asked: “Remember the beepers? Remember these things? The days when Jews were defenseless victims marched to the slaughter, those days are over.”
“Hezbollah certainly remembers them,” he quipped, holding the pager device in his hand.

Thanking the U.S. and President Donald Trump, he declared that “In this battle against the barbarians, we’ve had no greater partner than President Trump. I thank him for his bold leadership.”

He also took on Zohran Mamdani, “the antisemitic mayor of New York,” The Times of Israel reported:
He calls Mamdani a supporter of Hamas, and claims that the mayor invited into his home a journalist who refused to release footage of “Hamas terrorists beating and torturing Israeli hostages.” He also pans Mamdani’s wife for liking anti-Israel posts.
“You can’t silence me. You can’t silence the truth,” he says to Mamdani, who has called for Netanyahu’s arrest on war crimes charges at the International Criminal Court, and has called him a “war criminal.” Netanyahu denies the charges.
“Israel didn’t commit genocide. Israel prevented genocide,” says Netanyahu, saying Mamdani’s “Hamas buddies” would have killed every last Jew if they could have.
He calls Mamdani “antisemitic,” and says in his city Jews are stabbed and targeted simply for being Jews.
“The days when Jews were defenseless victims marched to the slaughter, those days are over,” he declares. “Today we have a state. Today we have an army.”
He urges Jews to “raise your heads high” and for everyone else to join the fight against “the barbarians.”

“We are going to win; we have no other choice,” Prime Minister Netanyahu said at least twice during his address, emphasizing that Israel is locked in an existential battle and remains determined to prevail.
Prime Minister Netanyahu quoted Mark Twain, stating that staying true to their values has helped the Jews “beat the odds of history.”
He continued: “The tyrannies which have tried to destroy us have failed time and again, and God willing, they’ll continue to fail. If we muster our courage, if we steel our resolve, we will continue to win. As the Bible says, ‘the eternity of Israel will not falter’. The reason is simple. We have no other choice.”

Ahead of his flight, Prime Minister Netanyahu fired back at New York’s Mayor Zohran Mamdani for his baseless allegation against him and the Israeli military, which is fighting a multi-front war against Hamas and the Iran-led axis of terror.
“Shame on you for inciting riots against New York Jews,” he said in a video on X. “I’m coming to the U.N. I’m going to tell the truth about our heroic soldiers, and I’m going to tell the truth about you.”
