About the Organisation

The National Legal Rights Consortium (NLRC) is a legal consortium working towards legal awareness, public interest research, policy advocacy, and socio-legal empowerment across India. Through its network of legal practitioners, scholars, and student researchers, NLRC promotes institutional discourse and community-centred legal reforms.

The Andhra Pradesh Legal Rights Consortium is the regional chapter of NLRC. It focuses on grassroots legal literacy, state-level policy analysis, community outreach, and legal empowerment initiatives across Andhra Pradesh.

About the Call for Members

The Andhra Pradesh Legal Rights Consortium, NLRC is inviting applications from passionate law students, graduates, and young legal professionals to join its State Council and core operational divisions for the upcoming term.

Members will collaborate on regional outreach drives, legal research publications, policy briefs, and state-wide advocacy campaigns.

Eligibility

  • Students pursuing three-year or five-year integrated law degrees, including B.A. LL.B. and B.B.A. LL.B., from any recognised law school or university.

  • LL.M. candidates, legal researchers, and early-career advocates.

  • Applicants with a demonstrated commitment to human rights, legal literacy, constitutional values, or policy reform.

  • Working knowledge of Telugu is preferred for field outreach roles.

  • Strong English drafting and communication skills.
