Global law firm Freshfields today (8 September) announces the appointment of Ram Komarraju as chief information officer, replacing Christopher Smith, who left in January this year.
Komarraju joins Freshfields from CLS, a global financial market infrastructure group that operates one of the world’s largest foreign exchange settlement services, processing approximately $8tn in payment instructions every day. Most recently, as managing director of technology, Komarraju led teams spanning technology strategy, architecture, engineering, and data and analytics.
