The theme for the Arbitration Week is “Three stakeholders, three days, one vision” and is centred around building Gujarat’s institutional arbitration ecosystem.
The four-day programme will bring together judges, senior advocates, government law officers and international arbitration practitioners for discussions on developments in domestic and international arbitration.
The opening ceremony will be held on September 3, while the substantive sessions of the arbitration week will take place from September 4 to 6.
The programme will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions and sessions on the evolution of India’s arbitration regime and its engagement with international arbitration.
The conference examines a variety of themes. Not only does it reflect on how the law has moved forward since 2015, but it also looks at amendments required for a healthier arbitration regime. Moreover, it includes contemporary themes such as the use of Artificial Intelligence in Arbitration and conflict of law issues that arise in international arbitration.
