About the Organiser
The Central University of Karnataka (CUK) was established by an Act of Parliament in 2009 and is located in Kalaburagi, Karnataka. The university focuses on teaching, learning, training, research, innovation, and skill development across undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral studies.
The Department of Law, established in 2019, aims to promote excellence in legal education and research, nurture students’ talent and skills, and contribute to strengthening the rule of law. The Department currently offers LL.M. and PhD programmes and is also offering the BA LL.B. course.
About the Programme
Mission Nyayadrishti Samvad is a pro bono marathon lecture series of 100 online lectures initiated by the Department of Law, School of Legal Studies, Central University of Karnataka. The mission is envisioned in the context of Viksit Bharat 2047 and is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly quality education, reduced inequalities, and peace, justice, and strong institutions.
Phase VI of the mission will focus on Commercial Law and will comprise 10 online lectures. The mission has already completed 50 lectures without interruption. The organisers plan to transcribe the lectures into book form and publish them with an ISBN for wider dissemination of knowledge.
Programme Details

One lecture will be held every Friday.

The mission will continue for a minimum of two years and a maximum of three years.

The complete mission will comprise 100 lectures across 10 domains of law.

The lectures will be conducted entirely on a pro bono basis, with no financial exchange between the resource persons and participants.

The initiative is intended to provide accessible, inclusive, and equitable legal education beyond regular academic curricula.
