Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is reportedly examining whether Biden’s COVID vaccine mandates imposed on U.S. troops concealed a more serious toll than the Pentagon has previously acknowledged.
Army physician Dr. Theresa Long testified that she is reviewing thousands of unverified VAERS death reports and military health databases after being assigned to work with Kennedy and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth.
In an Aug. 14 deposition obtained by POLITICO, Theresa Long said Hegseth detailed her to be Kennedy’s senior medical military adviser. Her role at HHS has not been previously reported. Kennedy, a longtime vaccine safety skeptic, has hired others who share his skepticism to investigate vaccine injuries and to probe any links between vaccines and rising rates of autism. Studies done over decades have not found a link.
…As part of her role, Long said she’s looking into whether 2,544 unverified deaths among service members reported to HHS’ Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System — or VAERS — were caused by Covid vaccines.
Long, who is board certified in aerospace medicine and has a master’s in public health, told the court she hoped to be able to finish her research on the potential vaccine complications “within a year.”

Long indicates she knows of 28 people who died after receiving the COVID vaccine. Meanwhile, media outlets continue to assert the COVID vaccine is safe.
Long reportedly said she is looking at the data after Kennedy and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth appointed her to “investigate the health surveillance system during the pandemic” and two military medical databases. She said she knows of 28 people who died from the vaccine but said she was not allowed to share more.
Kennedy, a longtime vaccine critic, has called the COVID-19 shots “the deadliest vaccine ever made” and since his appointment has replaced federal health advisers with individuals who have expressed anti-vaccine views. Some of those ousted later blamed disputes about vaccine policy for their removal.
The COVID-19 vaccine has been widely studied, and according to a 2022 study, 38 deaths could have been related to the vaccine. At the time, more than 8 billion doses had been administered.
Furthermore, the press is undermining Long’s credentials and her ability to fairly assess the impact of the COVID vaccine on our military personnel. These bits were published by The New York Times.

…She testified that she had personal knowledge of the deaths of 28 service members as a result of Covid vaccines. She also said that she knew of several female service members who lost pregnancies after receiving Covid shots, and that the vaccines had caused pregnancy loss at a rate of about 82 percent. Studies in hundreds of thousands of women have shown that Covid vaccination is not linked to an increased risk of miscarriage, stillbirth or preterm birth.
I will simply note that former White House coronavirus czar Anthony Fauci worried about miscarriage risks linked to the COVID vaccine in a text message. Two 2025 studies reported adverse effects on female fertility after COVID vaccinations.
Furthermore, the U.S. Army admitted a link between the COVID vaccination and the heart attack experienced by Army Specialist Karoline Stancik.
Back in 2021, Long testified to Sen. Ron Johnson’s panel on Biden’s vaccine mandates and alleged vaccine injuries. She argued that COVID vaccination policies posed undue risks to service members and harmed military readiness.
I note that her testimony seems to have been borne out by events.
The Biden-era military vaccine mandate arguably also harmed the warfighting force by contributing to involuntary separations, discouraging potential recruits, disrupting careers and service-academy pathways, and generating extensive litigation over religious accommodations and due-process concerns.
Taken in their entirety, the consequences observed raise serious questions about whether the policy’s implementation prioritized institutional compliance over readiness, retention, individualized medical needs and preferences, and the fair treatment of service members.
A comprehensive, evidence-based review of potential policy outcomes (i.e., personnel losses, recruiting effects, exemption decisions, medical issues) is warranted, particularly from a reviewer who is appropriately skeptical of the covid pandemic response and its policy assumptions.
Never forget…the chief architect of this madness spent several days pleading the Fifth Amendment at U.S. Senate hearings.
