Supreme Court Collegium recommends Justice Alpesh Yeshvant Kogje as Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court

Justice Kogje completed his B.Sc. in Chemistry in 1990 and earned his law degree from the Faculty of Law at Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda in 1993.

He joined the Bar in 1993, building a robust practice in civil and criminal matters before the High Court. Throughout his career as counsel, he held several significant roles, including Additional Public Prosecutor from 2002 to 2007, Standing Counsel for the Central Excise and Customs Department, and Special Public Prosecutor for the Special Investigation Team (SIT), where he notably handled a large volume of important cases arising from the 2002 Godhra riots.
