According to the UPSC notification, the CSE Prelims examination is scheduled for 23 May 2027, with the Mains examination to follow thereafter. As time is passing quickly, this is the right time for aspirants to intensify their efforts and prepare for both Prelims and Mains through a well-coordinated, integrated approach.

Drishti UPSC Mentorship Programme (Integrated)–2027 is designed to help aspirants prepare strategically for the UPSC CSE 2027 examination. The programme helps students avoid common mistakes, stay focused, and navigate their preparation with confidence.

It is designed to strengthen every dimension of UPSC preparation, with a focus on the core competencies required for Prelims and Mains, including effective revision techniques, strong retention, quick recall, and structured answer writing.

Mentorship Library

• Students will have access to a well-equipped Mentorship Library that offers a conducive environment for focused study, comfortable seating, and guidance from in-house mentors.
• The library provides an ideal peer-learning environment, bringing together new aspirants, experienced candidates, and successful candidates. Students who qualify the Induction Test and enrol in the offline programme will receive access to one shift of the library.
• The Mentorship Library facility is available at the different centers of Drishti IAS

Value-Addition Notes

Students will receive Concept Notes through the Drishti Learning App. These notes are designed to strengthen conceptual clarity and enrich the quality of their answers for Mains Preparations

Availability of the Programme   

UPSC Mentorship Programme (Integrated)-2027 is available in both offline and online modes. The course structure remains the same in both modes; only the mode of delivery differs.

Offline Mode

• Offline students will have access to well-equipped libraries at our Karol Bagh, Noida, Prayagraj, Jaipur, Lucknow, Indore, Patna, Ranchi and Agra centres. Students enrolled in the programme will be allotted one library shift. They can take regular tests at the designated library or classroom centres, attend doubt-clearing sessions, and interact with mentors in person.

Online Mode

• Online students will receive all programme facilities except access to the library. They can take tests through the Drishti Learning App (DLA) and access programme resources online. Doubt-clearing support and mentor interactions will be provided through calls and Zoom sessions.
• Note: Students enrolled in the Online Programme will not be permitted to take tests in offline mode. They may attempt all tests only through the Drishti Learning App.

Admission Process

• Admission to the programme can be completed through the following modes:

Online Programme

• Candidates can enrol by purchasing the course through the Drishti Learning App or the official website: drishtilearningapp.com.

Offline Programme

• Candidates must visit their preferred centre—Karol Bagh, Noida, Prayagraj, Lucknow, Indore, Jaipur, Patna, or Ranchi—and complete the required admission formalities in person.

Induction Test Benefit

• Drishti GS Foundation students who qualify the Induction Test will receive complimentary admission to this Mentorship Programme. They will be required to visit their preferred centre to complete the admission formalities.

Marking Scheme

• All questions carry 2 marks each.
• Negative marking applies to incorrect answers.
• Each question has four answer options. For every incorrect answer, one-third of the marks allotted to that question will be deducted.
• If a candidate selects more than one answer, it will be treated as incorrect, even if one of the selected answers is correct. The same penalty will apply.
• No penalty will be imposed for unanswered questions.

Language of the Question Paper

• The question paper will be available in both Hindi and English. In case of any discrepancy or dispute, the English version of the question will be considered final.

Declaration of Result

• The Induction Test result will be declared within 2 weeks of the test. Students who qualify will be offered complimentary admission to the Mentorship Programme.

Important Information Regarding Results

Candidates belonging to categories eligible for reservation in the Civil Services Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will be given proportionate consideration for admission to the Mentorship Programme, subject to meeting the prescribed cut-off.

Every effort will be made to ensure representation from the following categories:

• Scheduled Castes (SC): 15%
• Scheduled Tribes (ST): 7.5%
• Other Backward Classes (OBC): 27%
• Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): 10%

Please note that this reservation policy applies only to Drishti students who secure admission to the programme by qualifying the Induction Test.

Notes Related to the Induction Test

• Candidates appearing for the UPSC Mentorship Programme (I)–2027 Induction Test on 20th September are advised to wait for their result before purchasing the programme. No refund requests will be entertained in such cases.
• Students who have already availed complimentary admission to any Mentorship Programme through the Induction Test two or more times in previous years will not be eligible to appear for the test. If such candidates appear for and qualify the test, they will not be granted complimentary admission.
• Candidates must not bring any electronic devices into the examination hall on the day of the Induction Test. The use of unfair means may result in the cancellation of candidature.

• The students who have already been selected or have appeared in UPSC CSE Interview 2024/2025 will receive 50% discount on the above Fee. 
• Only one shift of the library will be provided to the students taking admission through fee payment/passing the Induction Test/direct access.
• Students who want to have access to both the shifts can get it by paying the required fee mentioned above.
• Studio Foundation Course is not considered as Drishti GS Foundation Course.
• Kindly note that admission to the Mentorship Programme and the allotment of the library is based on the availability of seats in the respective libraries and the criteria set by the management.
• The continuation of students in the programme is strictly on the basis of their performance.
• If the performance of the student is below par (on the set parameters), the management reserves the right to oust such students without any refund of the admission fee (if applicable).
• The admission fee for the Programme is non-refundable after 2 days of admission.
• In reference to the above fee structure, only GS Foundation Students are considered as Drishti students.

Programme Duration:

• This programme will continue until mid-January. Post its completion, students enrolled in UPSC Mentorship Programme (I) – 2027 will be seamlessly continued into the UPSC Mentorship Programme (Prelims) – 2027 beginning in mid-January*.
• This progression will be subject to the student meeting the prescribed performance benchmarks and maintaining the disciplinary standards set by the management.

Discipline & Programme Rules:

Mandatory Test Participation:

• Students are required to appear in all programme tests. A minimum of 75% test attendance is mandatory.

Sequential Test Eligibility:

• Students will be allowed to appear in the next test only after attempting the previous one. Exceptions may be granted only under rare and valid circumstances.

Performance & Participation Monitoring:-

• Continuous evaluation will be based on attendance, test performance, and active participation. Students not demonstrating seriousness will be issued a warning. Continued non-compliance may lead to de-registration from the programme at the discretion of the management.

Continuation Criteria

• To remain enrolled, students must consistently demonstrate sincerity and discipline through regular assessments. Failure to meet the prescribed standards may result in removal from the programme.
